- have applied to the ICT sector but have run into obstacles
- are pondering their possibilities
- are experienced in ICT but require updates to their professional know-how and their knowledge of the job market
- are proficient in other technical fields without direct ICT training or work experience, but have all the more enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Execution and Content of the ICT Camp
The Camp includes learning in a group and with individual guidance, but also supports studying and searching for information independently. In addition to the teacher, a personal coach is there to support each participant. The Camp lasts 40 weekdays, spanning over approximately two months.
The Camp is a full-time course. It includes on-the-site teaching in BearIT's premises in the centre of Tampere, remote learning through video conferencing, and independent study with tasks and technologies.
Of the Camp, 60 % is getting to know the ICT field and finding your own career path and 40 % is developing your technological know-how. You can also freely take advantage of the available technological courses in your own time and for some time after the Camp.
The participants of the two previous ICT Camps graded the entity to 4.9 and 4.4 (on a scale from 1 to 5).
