What is UraSprintti?
UraSprintti is a digital employment-oriented coaching service utilizing modern digital solutions for offering flexible coaching that meets customers’ needs.
Coaching service is for anyone who wants support or guidance for identifying one’s competence and strengths, weighing career options, information on competence development opportunities, support for developing job-seeking skills and digital skills for working life and tools for solving issues standing in the way of employment.
The coaching service has already started in the North Savo, South Savo, Southeast Finland and Lapland area.

Coaching progression
The coaching program will start with a competence survey by using OSKAR that is an easy to use tool for mapping competencies and skills.
OSKAR competence survey tool is based on ESCO - the European classification of Skills, Competences and Occupations that provides descriptions of over 3000 occupations and almost 14 000 skills.
The aim of the survey is to collect information about your professional and other competencies and skills that you have picked up along the way as well as about your motivation, and your professional interests. When your actual competencies and skills have been assessed and recognized it is easier for you to target job search correctly or select the right services to promote employment.
Recognition of competencies and skills is a beginning of the happy story of employment.
Coaching for customers' needs - Towards their own goals
You can choose 1–2 coaching paths that best support your goals. The total duration of the coaching is at most 40 weekdays.

Aimed at developing the customer’s commonly needed basic IT skills, duration 15 weekdays.

Aimed at clarifying the customer’s career

Aimed at helping the customer to identify
paths for developing their competence that
are suited to them and support their goals, duration 15 weekdays. -
JOB SEEKING SKILLS
Aimed at helping the customer to compile tools for themselves that support effective job seeking, duration 15 weekdays.

WORK ABILITY AND FUNCTIONING
Aimed at helping the customer to devise a follow-up plan that takes into consideration the next steps towards the labour market, duration 5 weekdays.

Coaching is for customers of TE office and local government pilot on employment in the areas of five different ELY centres.
For getting instructions on applying contact your own expert in your local TE office or employment services of your municipality of residence.

Yes . You can participate in coaching regardless of time of day with your own preferences. However, you are being expected to work actively on every weekday during the coaching program.

Yes. You will need a smartphone, tablet or computer for participating in the coaching program. In addition, you should have online banking codes, a mobile certificate or a smart ID card for identity verification.

There are not any lectures in the coaching at this moment. Working is based on information search, thinking and reflection, and written assignments in the digital platform.

You can discuss with your coach about issues that are important to you during the guidance discussions. In addition, you can send a chat message to your coach easily from the digital platform.
